Elżbieta Radziszewska-Zielina is Head of the Department of Construction Technology and Organization in Institute of Construction and Transportation Engineering & Management at Cracow University of Technology. She graduated from the Cracow University of Technology with an MA degree in construction (building constructions) and from the Jagiellonian University with an MA degree in economic sociology and market research. In 2001, she completed the Postgraduate Doctoral Program of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Cracow University of Technology with the defence of her doctoral thesis “Technical and technological parameters of building thermomodernization investments and their market evaluation”. In January 2012, on the basis of assessment of her overall scientific output and her habilitation thesis “Analysis of the partnering relations of construction enterprises”, the Faculty Council conferred on her the title of doctor habilitatus.
Her scholarly intersets are related to organization and management in construction industry.
Her scholarly output amounts to over 100 publications, including the monograph “Studies of the Partner Relations of Construction Companies”.
She has been commissioned by the construction industry and research institutes to design and implement research and to perform construction market analyses. She is the author of 7 projects reserved for construction industry.
Wojciech Drozd, Ph. D, works in the Institute of Construction and Transportation Engineering & Management at Cracow University of Technology. On 17th October 2007 she defended her doctoral dissertation.
Wojciech Drozd’s scope of interest encompasses such issues as technology and safety of building works. He has published over 20 articles in Polish journals and in reviewed conference materials.

Edyta Plebankiewicz, Ph. D, works in the Institute of Construction and Transportation Engineering & Management at Cracow University of Technology. On 12th December 2001 she defended her doctoral dissertation and on 19th June 2013 the Faculty Council of the Civil Engineering Faculty at Cracow Technical University granted her a postdoctoral degree (habilitation) in technical sciences in the construction discipline.
Edyta Plebankiewicz’s scope of interest encompasses such issues as commissioning building works, analysed from the point of view of both the contractor and the construction client, and cost calculation in the investment process. Her models of the processes employ fuzzy logic. She has published over 70 articles in Polish and foreign journals, 30 articles in reviewed conference materials, a textbook and a postdoctoral dissertation. Her articles devoted to modeling various issues in construction management using fuzzy sets were published in, for instance, Automation in Construction Journals, Journal of Civil Engineering and Management, or Technological and Economic Development of Economy.

Patrycja Karcińska, MSc Eng, works in the Institute of Construction and Transportation Engineering & Management at Cracow University of Technology. On the 1st July 2011 she defended her master thesis on the Civil Engineering Faculty at Cracow Technical University and the decision of the Faculty Council graduated with honors for academic performance.
Patrycja Karcińska’s scope of interest encompasses issues related to organization and management of construction, especially such problems as construction contractor bidding strategy, development and optimization of construction schedules, construction works duration assessment and workforce planning. Her models of the processes employ fuzzy logic. She is at the beginning of her scientific career and has already published few articles in Polish journals.

Michał Juszczyk, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Institute of Construction and Transportation Engineering & Management at Cracow University of Technology. His First Degree was in Marketing and Management in Construction (graduated with honours in 2000) – Cracow University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, PL. His Doctorate was obtained from the Cracow University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, PL, in the Engineering Sciences, area of Construction Organization and Management (2010).
He lectures at 1st degree, 2nd degree and postgraduate levels in the areas of Construction Organization and Management and Construction Technology. He supervises postgraduate studies in the field of Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation and Construction Planning. He also supervises courses for professionals in the fields of Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation.
Michał Juszczyk’s scope of scientific and professional interests encompasses such issues as: building information modelling (BIM) and its applications in construction project management, construction cost management, construction cost analyses, construction project management, technology of construction works. He has contributed over 20 publications in various journals and conferences in his areas of expertise.
